1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
5.2 oz boursin garlic and herb cheese
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
1-2 cups asparagus
1 onion
AP Seasoning, Lemon Bae, Garlic and Herb Seasoning
2-3 tbsps butter
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp garlic
1-2 tbsps flour
1- 1.5 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup fresh parsley

I had some leftover Boursin from your spaghetti and meatball recipe so this came just in time! I had most of the ingredients at home already which was perfect. MAN that sauce is so different but so delicious!! The Dijon is a nice surprise flavor wise, too. It was already good but then when you add the Boursin it becomes so creamy and takes the flavor up a notch. I actually love that you didn’t use heavy cream for this but it tastes like you did. I also don’t usually like warm tomatoes but these gave it the balance it needed. 5 ⭐️ meal that takes no time. Thanks again, you’re blessing our dinner table so much!

There are recipes out there for homemade Boursin cheese that are more budget friendly than store bought. Healthier too, because there’s no yucky chemicals.

I made it on Sunday and the chicken breast were perfectly moist. And, the sauce was tasty, but I felt the dijon was overpowering and took away from the title of the dish. I love dijon, but not in a herb and cheese chicken dish

I just made a very similar dinner last wk called creamy Tuscan chicken but with cream n i added spinach,broccoli,carrots n cherry tomatoes..tho idk y but i ended up not enjoyin the tomatoes n didnt end up eating all of them!like became mushy!great idea tho!ty

@lovemary For sure. Glad to help. A few warnings about Hexclad: 1) They're expensive but good. I like mine. They complement my cast iron set very well. 2) They say they're metal utensil and dishwasher safe. Don't. Metal utensils will definitely scratch the walls of the pan. 3) They're not 100% "non-stick". You still need butter or oil. 4) I'd avoid constantly cooking a lot of highly acidic foods. It'll cut down the lifespan of the pan. I'm not saying dont ever do it, you can, I just wouldn't do it daily. They are really good tho.

I agree. Alot of YTers use cream sauces. If it helps, I omit all cheese and cream. It then becomes a flavorful chicken broth sauce. Is it runny? Of course, but I usually let it simmer out on medium heat until all gone. My hubs and son loathe cream or cheese. I do sneak some butter though, they don't know it.

When the title says “creamy”, if you can’t have lactose, you should know that you either need to scroll on or start planning to sub ingredients out. The world doesn’t revolve around dietary restrictions. He doesn’t owe anyone specialized meals for all their dietary needs. He’s not a cook in a nursing home.
